Kevin Corbett And The Revelation |
Who Saved Who
Who Saved Who
She stood on a raged cliff
High above the ocean
Looked up at the heavens
And cursed God and cried
How could anyone
Live through such emotion
She leaned over the edge
To throw away her life
She cast her eyes down on
The glistening grave
Thought she saw a child
Struggling for the shore
And then a still small voice said
You can save
She ran down the trail
Asking what am doing this for
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
Or did someone send him to you
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
Who saved who
She dragged him to the sand
He lay without motion
He rubbed his face and hands
And begged for his life
Then he started to move
And his eyes opened
How could one so hurt
Feel so high
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
Or did someone send him to you
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
Who saved who
The sirens faded
And she climbed above the ocean
She looked down
And slowly backed away
She smiled and whispered
Oh, I must be good for something
Then she turned her back
And walked away
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
Or did someone send him to you
Jenni you saved him or did he save you
